NETSCAPE

NETSCAPE netting is produced on raschel knitting machines with a 10mm x  10mm square pattern using 100% high density 400 denier polyethylene monofilament.

The netting has been designed and developed to EXCLUDE birds from areas such as building atriums and light wells, open roof structures, wide ledges and window sills, roof overhangs, balconies, hollow block facades and false balconies that house air conditioners. These are generally the areas that are turned into Pigeon lofts and the mess that the birds create can become a deadly hazard to the occupants of the building.

NETSCAPE is manufactured from materials designed to be long lasting, UV protected and weather resistant. With our unique tailor made system with each net made to fit it’s position exactly and with the WEBBING EDGE, it is extremely strong when tensioned into position . In situ, NETSCAPE becomes “INVISIBLE” which may sound an outrageous claim to make but we have hundreds of installations we would be happy to show you to prove our point.

We have used our unique NETSCAPE system to close off the front of both external glass lifts as well as fire escapes to stop feral pigeons from entering an atrium and using the lift gear plus steps for roosting purposes. The nets have been tailor made to drop down 22 floors over a width of 12 meters. These nets surround the lifts and fire escapes in a tunnel standing proud of the building by 3.0 meters. Life expectancy is in excess of 20 years in these extreme conditions.
